Everyone is talking about Bitcoin Halving. Miners in 2009 received 50 BTC for mining each block but now it's going to be 6.25! We saw a huge price change after the last two halvings. Ahead of 3rd Bitcoin Halving, what is your expectations, what is going to happen?

Looks like ViaBTC has switched a ton of hashpower over to Bitcoin Cash, and one of the unknown miners is now tagged as XXXYYY (9 blocks in the last hour!)

Smart money is gobbling up those last remaining NYC cheapies... chomp chomp chomp. Miner reward has been slashed and will continue to be halved down to 50 NYC block rewards! Once cheapies are gobbled up, it's rocket time... Enjoy the upcoming Bitcoin 'moonshot' NYC hodl'ers.

Unknown Miner Mined 51% of the last 144 Bitcoin Cash Blocks

If a miner controls 51% hash rate, they can theoretically do a 51% attack.
Since the Hard Fork kicked in, with the new mining algorithm, the "Unknown Miner" has been mining more, & more blocks. Was this planned?
51% Attack Definition: "The ability of someone controlling a majority of network hash rate to revise transaction history and prevent new transactions from confirming."

In the last 1 hour after the difficulty adjustment, Bitcoin Cash had 18 blocks mined. This is 1 block every 3.3 minutes (3x the normal speed). I also noticed the profit just went from 167% to 170%. It seems to be increasing as miners jump off BTC and onto BCC.

It is now 25 blocks in the past 1 hour.

"Unknown Miner" mined 45% of last 1000 Blocks in Bitcoin Cash

When the Core Developers said that bigger blocks would lead to massive centralisation, I did not think it would happen so quickly.

Think about it this way. How easy would it be for any government to shut down a centralised versus a decentralised currency?
Finally, the flippening can no longer happen now.
IF more hash power moves to the Bitcoin Cash BCH chain, and blocks are found quicker, the mining algorithm (of Bitcoin Cash), will automatically adjust to make it more difficult to mine Bitcoin Cash. As it becomes more difficult to mine, miners will move back to Bitcoin BTC. The target of this Bitcoin Cash DAA is to maintain an average block time of 10 minutes.

"Bitcoin governance model has prevented a degradation of trustlessness (...) If Bitcoins governance model had not been resistant to last years miner signalling for a doubling the maximum block weight, a precedent would have been set of valuing transaction throughput above trustlessness."

The estimate is 2140 based on the block reward halving frequency of four years.According to math and knowledge that there are 32 halving events, in 2136, the block reward will yield 0.00000168 BTC per day, which is 0.00000042 BTC per block. That's 42 satoshis.. It's arguable that there could be one additional halving, to a block reward of 0.00000021 BTC, but that would require a major protocol ... Bitcoin’s blockchain protocol makes mining more difficult as more miners join the pool, and the crypto reward for mining a block also halves every 210,000 blocks.
